History of the World Wide Web
Sir Timothy John Berners-Lee, a British computer scientist and the director of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), which publishes web design guidelines and standards and oversees the Web's continued development, published what is considered to be the first website in August 1991. Sir Berners-Lee has been credited with inventing the World Wide Web.
When designing a website, the following aspects are important to consider:
Industry
Before any web design project is started, we conduct market-related research to ensure that your website is designed in-line with your industry. As you know your industry best, we will also consult with you to get an idea of how you perceive your industry.
Aesthetic Appeal
Your website must look good. As your website is often the first impression a potential client or customer will get of your business, it is vital that your website compliments your business’ look and feel.
Functionality
Of equal importance to the aesthetic appeal of your website, is the functionality. It is imperative that your website is well laid out and that it is easy for a visitor to navigate their way around your site.
Metrics and Statistics
A very important part of the web design process only comes after the website has been designed. Knowing how the majority of your visitors are finding your website and how much time they spend on your website, are only two of the vital metrics that we will provide as part of our after-sales support.
